She comes from a family where homeopathy is used on a daily basis. Both of her parents worked in the finance and administrative sector serving as government officers for 30 years.

She is been taking homeopathic medicines to treat illnesses since she was 9 months old. Dr. Amruta Shirole has been practicing classical homeopathy with more than 13 years of experience both in India as well as in the USA.

She received her bachelor’s degree in 2009 followed by 1 year of internship. During her internship, she underwent emergency medical training and gained knowledge of modern (allopathic )medicines. In 2013 she received her master’s degree M.D(HOM) from MUHS, Nasik University, India.

She has contributed in the research work by submitting her thesis on treating acute and recurrent pharyngitis, and tonsillitis with the help of homeopathic medicines. This research was carried out on patients from different age groups and was approved by the government of India.
